By way of explanation, she still sleeps in our room. But, with the exception of nap time, she doesn't like to sleep in there alone - at least she didn't the last time we checked. So, most nights, Jason ends up just holding her for a good part of the night while she sleeps before we're ready to go to bed.
This may seem nice on the surface, but it's kind of a pain to try to get anything done while holding onto a sleeping baby.
So we tried the blanket one night and now this is what we do - she sleeps on the floor on the blanket until we're ready for bed. However, she moves around a lot while she's sleeping and doesn't spend the whole time actually ON the blanket.
Thankfully, she stopped short of actually rolling over the metal feet of the furniture....
